Portuguese Couple Arrested with Over 100,000 Cocaine Doses at Lisbon Airport

Portuguese authorities apprehended a 40-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman at Lisbon Airport on August 28th for suspected drug trafficking. Police officers, during routine border control, noticed suspicious activity and opted for a secondary inspection. This more thorough examination revealed 113,500 doses of cocaine concealed within their luggage. The suspects were arrested and remain in preventive custody.
