The popular Japanese manga series ‘Saiyuki,’ based on the Chinese novel ‘Journey to the West,’ is getting a final chapter titled ‘Saiyuki RELOAD BLAST.’ The announcement was made by the Japanese manga magazine ‘Monthly Comic Zero-Sum’ on August 28th. The story follows the adventures of Xuanzang, Sun Wukong, and their companions as they travel to the Western Paradise to investigate the cause of the demon’s growing savagery in a world where humans and demons coexist. The ‘Saiyuki’ series, originally created by manga artist Kazuya Minekura, has been running since 1997 and has been adapted into five TV anime series, along with original video animations (OVA), anime films, and even a musical.
