The patrol car, driven by a 38-year-old male police officer, was responding to a shoplifting incident when it crashed into the parked vehicle after the driver reportedly failed to notice the car. The 46-year-old woman driving the parked car sustained minor injuries, including a neck sprain. The police officer was unharmed. The police are investigating the cause of the accident, suspecting that the officer’s failure to pay attention while driving was a contributing factor.
