Poland’s Culture Budget Soars: Over $2 Billion Allocated for 2025

The Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage has announced a significant increase in funding for cultural initiatives in 2025, exceeding 1% of the national budget. The total allocation for culture in 2025 is set at 9,657.4 million złoty, or roughly $2.4 billion. This substantial increase will primarily benefit programs designed to support cultural education and artistic development, particularly those directed towards cultural centers and organizations. Notably, the budget includes a 5% raise for salaries in state-run cultural institutions and a commitment to finalize a system of social security for artists.
