Plovdiv Police Crack Down on Drunk Driving for a Month

Plovdiv police will be conducting intensified checks for drunk driving throughout September as part of the ‘Alcohol is a Bad Driver’ campaign. This initiative, a collaboration with Kamenitza AD, aims to raise awareness about the dangers of driving under the influence and promote responsible driving practices. The campaign involves routine checks using breathalyzers and the presence of Kamenitza representatives to explain the campaign’s objectives and emphasize its message. The joint police and Kamenitza checks will take place at key intersections with heavy traffic in Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, and Veliko Tarnovo.
