A pensioner was seriously injured after being attacked at a Tesco Extra supermarket in Rainham, Essex. Police were called to the store on Bridge Road at around 10:38 am on August 30th, responding to reports of an assault. Upon arrival, officers found the man, in his 70s, with a head injury. He received medical attention at the scene before being transported to the hospital for further evaluation. The victim’s condition is currently being assessed. No arrests have been made in connection with the attack, and the incident remains under investigation by the Metropolitan Police.
