The Mayor of Parczew, Paweł Kędracki, will have a new deputy starting Monday. Michał Bożym, who is leaving his position at the end of August, will be replaced by Radosław Kozak, a member of the Law and Justice party, director of the Chancellery of the Lublin Voivodeship Sejmik, and former mayor of the gmina of Dębowa Kłoda. Kozak has a strong political background, having previously served as a deputy director in the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and as deputy director of the Chancellery of the Lublin Voivodeship Sejmik, before being promoted to acting director. He participated in both the 2018 and recent local elections. Bożym’s departure has been confirmed, but his future plans remain undisclosed. Unofficially, it is believed he will be taking on the role of director of the Parczew Municipal Utility Company.
