The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) has praised AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) for reaching the milestone of serving 2 million lives. In a letter addressed to AHF President Michael Weinstein, PAHO Director Dr. Jarbas Barbosa da Silva Jr. highlighted AHF’s extensive humanitarian and public health work in Latin America and the Caribbean. PAHO, the health agency of the United Nations for the Americas, commended AHF for its wide-reaching services, providing treatment and support to individuals affected by HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). AHF has also been recognized for its support of Venezuelan migrants and its commitment to donating $10 million to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
