A record-breaking group of nearly 1,400 Indian tourists arrived at the Sun Halong International Port on August 29th, embarking on a journey to discover the beauty of Halong Bay. This group, the largest contingent of Indian visitors to date, will be spread across over 33 boats, each accommodating 20-47 people, with a total of over 100 boats expected to be involved. The tourists will be treated to traditional Indian cuisine prepared by Indian chefs working in local restaurants. The menu will be transported to the boats, ensuring a unique and authentic dining experience. Halong Bay, renowned for its stunning scenery, is attracting growing numbers of international visitors. This influx of Indian tourists is seen as a major boost to Vietnam’s tourism industry. The group, comprised of employees of a major Indian pharmaceutical company, will also visit Hanoi and Ninh Binh, exploring diverse cultural and natural landscapes.
