The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) closed the past week with a 0.35% increase in its general index, reaching 2413.1 points compared to 2404.7 points the previous week. Daily trading volume averaged around 3.8 million dinars, up 11.6% from the previous week, totaling 18.8 million dinars for the week. The ASE recorded 16.2 million shares traded through 9,792 transactions. The financial sector led the trading volume, accounting for 48.99% of the total volume with 9.22 million dinars. The services sector followed with 35.42%, representing 6.67 million dinars, and the industrial sector contributed 15.59% with 2.93 million dinars. The financial sector index rose by 0.25%, the services sector index increased by 0.25%, and the industrial sector index climbed by 0.71%. Out of the 128 companies whose shares were traded last week, 47 saw their share prices rise, while 47 others experienced price declines.
