Ogun State Seeks Collaboration with Engineers to Boost Infrastructure

The Ogun State Government is calling on engineers to partner in its ambitious infrastructure development plans. The State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing the state’s infrastructure, highlighting projects like the reconstruction of the Abeokuta-Ota-Lagos dual carriageway and the development of the Gateway Agro-Cargo International Airport. Onasanya stressed the need for collaboration with professional organizations like the Nigerian Society of Engineers to achieve these goals. The government is also committed to supporting the professional development of public servants, including engineers, by promoting their career advancement within the civil service. The Nigerian Society of Engineers, in turn, has expressed support for the government’s initiatives, recognizing the significant strides made in infrastructure development under Governor Dapo Abiodun’s leadership.
