Oceaneering International Inc. (OII) has secured multiple contracts for work in the UK North Sea region. The contracts, awarded by several operators, cover decommissioning, inspection, subsea infrastructure preparation, and installation support services. The projects are expected to take approximately 65 days to complete and have options for extensions. Oceaneering’s UK North Sea hub in Aberdeen, Scotland, will oversee the contracts, which are scheduled to begin in August 2024. The work will be carried out using the company’s Island Offshore multiservice vessel (MSV) Island Frontier, which has been chartered until December 2025. Oceaneering’s CEO expressed satisfaction with the contract wins, highlighting their expansion into a key market and their strong relationships with major clients in the region.
