The highly anticipated Oasis reunion tour has kicked off with a chaotic ticketing experience. Fans eager to secure tickets for the Britpop band’s first shows in 15 years faced a barrage of website errors and lengthy online queues on Saturday. Despite more than 1 million tickets being available, the demand was overwhelming, leading to frustration and disappointment among many hopeful attendees. Resale websites quickly saw tickets being offered for exorbitant prices, with some listed for as much as £6,000, prompting Oasis to issue a warning against counterfeit tickets. The tour, featuring brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, will commence on July 4th and will include performances in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin.
