Turkey’s natural gas prices will remain unchanged for residential, industrial, and electricity generation consumers in September, according to a statement from the country’s state-owned energy company, BOTAS. The price for natural gas sold to distribution companies for residential consumers will remain at 5,631 Turkish Lira per 1,000 cubic meters, while the price for industrial consumers will stay at 8,549 Turkish Lira per 1,000 cubic meters. The price for electricity generation remains unchanged at 12,000 Turkish Lira per 1,000 cubic meters. Despite the price stability, BOTAS emphasizes that Turkey continues to have one of the lowest natural gas prices in Europe, based on the Household Energy Price Index (HEPI).
