Nigerian Labor Leader Summoned Again by Police: Fresh Allegations of Intimidation

The Nigeria Police Force has issued a fresh summons to Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), for questioning over allegations of criminal intimidation. He is scheduled to appear at the Force Headquarters in Abuja on September 5th, along with the NLC General Secretary, Emma Ugboaja. This latest summons follows an earlier invitation related to accusations of criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, treasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime. Despite facing these accusations, Ajaero maintains the NLC will continue its fight for better working conditions for Nigerian workers.
