Newcastle United’s promising young midfielder Joe White is poised for a loan move to MK Dons on deadline day. White, who spent the first half of last season on loan at Crewe Alexandra, returned to Tyneside in January and made a few appearances for the Magpies. He gained valuable experience during his time at Gresty Road and even made his Premier League debut against Bournemouth in February. However, he hasn’t featured in any of Newcastle’s matchday squads this season and has not been included in pre-season training. The 21-year-old is now set to join MK Dons, currently managed by former Newcastle defender Mike Williamson. MK Dons finished last season in the League Two play-offs and will be looking to go one step further this time around. White’s arrival will provide them with much-needed midfield reinforcements. Newcastle manager Eddie Howe previously praised White’s progress following his return from Crewe, highlighting his maturity and the positive impact of his loan spell.
