A newborn baby girl, named Fatma, was urgently transferred from Mardin’s Kızıltepe State Hospital to Diyarbakır for specialized medical treatment. Fatma was diagnosed with penile necrosis, a rare condition affecting the genital area, shortly after her birth. Due to the severity of her condition, medical professionals determined that she required advanced care and specialized treatment, prompting her transfer to Diyarbakır. An ambulance helicopter was dispatched to transport Fatma to Dicle University Hospital in Diyarbakır, where she received immediate medical attention in the pediatric surgery and intensive care units.
