New Special Needs School in South Korea to Open in March 2026

The South Jeolla Provincial Office of Education announced plans to open a new special needs school in the eastern region, specifically in the Jangsu district. The school, which will be the first of its kind in the eastern region, is slated to open in March 2026. The new facility, housed in the former Jangsu Elementary School, will accommodate 70 students across 18 classrooms. The special needs school is expected to provide specialized education for students with disabilities, catering to their individual needs and promoting their overall development.
