Munde Accuses Opposition of Politicizing Badlapur Sexual Assault Case

Pankaja Munde, a newly elected member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council, has accused opposition parties of politicizing the recent sexual assault case in Badlapur. Munde, while visiting Pandharpur for the Vitthal temple festival, criticized the opposition’s stance on the case. She stated that the opposition would not have used the case for political gain if they were in the opposition. Munde emphasized the need to treat such incidents as social issues and not exploit them for political advantage. She further expressed her disgust with the brutality of sexual assault cases and called for harsh punishment for perpetrators, comparing the situation to the Nirbhaya case.
