The Moscow government is launching a new initiative to encourage voter participation in upcoming elections. Residents who are part of the ‘Million Prizes’ program are receiving unique codes via SMS messages. These codes will allow them to enter the ‘#ChooseTogether2024 – Moscow’ campaign, offering the chance to win prizes. To qualify, participants must be over 18, registered in Moscow, and have an account on the mos.ru portal. The main prize draw offers participants a chance to win between 1,000 and 5,000 prize points. Points are awarded to those who vote for Moscow City Duma deputies, municipal deputies in the New Moscow Administrative Okrug (TINAO) and the Kurkino district, between September 6th and 8th. Voting can be done online or at designated polling stations. Voters who choose to vote online for the first time, and those over 60 who vote through mos.ru, are guaranteed to receive 1,000 prize points, even if they don’t win the main draw. Those voting online can also register for a separate draw for additional prizes, which include discounts of 15,000 prize points for use with partners in the ‘Million Prizes’ program. Winners will be notified via SMS or other methods, and can activate their prizes using their unique participant code.
