Mini Marathon Held at Rajakkad School to Celebrate National Sports Day

Rajakkad: The NCC unit of Rajakkad Government Higher Secondary School organized a mini marathon as part of the National Sports Day celebrations. Starting at Nadumattath in Rajakumari panchayat, the race concluded at the Rajakkad Government School grounds. Rajakkad SHO V. Vinodkumar flagged off the race. Over 100 participants competed in three categories. Cash prizes were awarded to winners, while all participants received encouragement prizes. The concluding ceremony was inaugurated by District Panchayat Standing Committee Chairperson Ushakumari Mohankumar. PTA president N.R Subhash presided over the function. Panchayat president Nisha Ratheesh delivered the sports day message. Ward member Veena Anoop, SMC chairman Roy Joseph, M.P.T.A president Ciji James, P.S Ajiyan, Aji Kattuma, V.K Atli, Sindhu Gopalan, Darmichian Rathappilli, and NCC officer O.S Rashmi addressed the gathering.
