The top ten most popular destinations are Beijing, Suzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Qingdao, Chongqing, Nanjing, Changsha, and Hangzhou. This year, the Mid-Autumn Festival falls between the summer and National Day holidays, resulting in lower airfares and hotel prices. Platform data reveals that the average airfare during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday has dropped by 25% compared to the summer, aligning with June prices. On September 15th, there are airfare deals available on routes like Beijing-Changzhou, Shanghai-Jinan, Guangzhou-Kunming, Chengdu-Lijiang, Hangzhou-Haikou, Changsha-Xi’an, Wuhan-Chongqing, and Nanjing-Zhangjiajie, with prices lower than those of high-speed trains. Among the top 100 destinations for hotel reservations, 30% are priced at off-season levels, including cities like Yili, Changzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Xi’an, Qinhuangdao, Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, and Zhengzhou.
