According to reports, the move was rejected due to a combination of factors, including the club’s lack of Champions League qualification and the financial terms of the offer. The Greek club is reported to have offered a figure below the $6 million price tag set by Pumas for the young striker. Huerta, valued at approximately $6 million by Transfermarkt, is under contract with Pumas until June 2025.
