Mexican Electoral Tribunal Poised to Approve Ruling Party’s Majority in Lower House

The Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Power of the Federation (TEPJF) is expected to approve the qualified majority of Morena and its allies in the Chamber of Deputies. This comes after a magistrate proposed the Superior Chamber of the TEPJF approves an agreement on the allocation of proportional representation seats, which would give the ruling party and its allies a decisive majority in the lower house.
