Mexican Athlete Rosa María Guerrero Wins Bronze in Discus Throw at Paralympics

Rosa María Guerrero Cázares, a Mexican athlete from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, earned a bronze medal in the discus throw at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. Guerrero, competing against 13 other athletes, achieved a throw of 25.81 meters, securing her place on the podium. This is Mexico’s second medal at the Paris Games, following a silver medal in swimming earlier this week. Guerrero previously won bronze at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics in the same event.
