A heated exchange erupted on Mega TV’s ‘LiveNews’ between presenter Nikos Evaggelatos and the lawyer representing the owner of a Luna Park in Chalkida. The lawyer, Christos Nastos, was confronted about past legal issues involving the Luna Park owner, who has been accused of negligence and operating without proper permits. Nastos was particularly upset by a report that suggested the Luna Park owner had been convicted for a serious injury to a child in 2009 and is currently facing trial for the death of a 13-year-old girl in 2019. He accused Evaggelatos of ‘bullying’ and threatened the reporter, saying, ‘You won’t see me back down.’ The incident has raised concerns about the safety of amusement parks in Greece and the potential for inadequate regulation.
