Mandi Temple Theft: Mobile Phone Stolen, Suspect Arrested

A man was arrested in Mandi, India, for stealing a mobile phone from a woman’s purse while she was visiting the Madhav Rai Temple. The incident occurred when the woman left her purse outside the temple while she went inside to pray. Upon returning, she discovered her mobile phone missing. Police, upon receiving a report, quickly apprehended the suspect, Neeraj Kumar, and recovered the stolen phone. The accused was presented in court and remanded to judicial custody until September 6th. A separate case involving the theft of car tires was also reported. Two suspects, Ghanshyam and Sahil Verma, were arrested and charged with the crime. They were remanded in police custody for four days while the investigation continues.
