Ten Hag, when asked about Sancho’s future, indicated he could stay beyond the deadline, emphasizing the need for a strong squad and depth. Sancho hasn’t featured for United in over a year following a public dispute with Ten Hag last season. He participated in the preseason tour but was left out of the first two matches. United are seeking a permanent transfer for Sancho, but their £40 million valuation has been a point of contention. The club is also considering a season-long loan with an option for a permanent move next summer.
