Experts have released a forecast for solar activity and magnetic storms in September 2024, predicting several disturbances throughout the month. The first wave of geomagnetic activity is expected to begin on September 6th and last for two days, with moderate solar activity. A weak magnetic storm is anticipated on September 12th, lasting another two days. A stronger, moderate-intensity storm is forecast from September 18th to 20th. Additionally, experts have warned of geomagnetic storms from September 24th to 26th and on September 29th. During these periods, disruptions to navigation and satellite systems are possible, and individuals sensitive to magnetic fluctuations may experience discomfort. Notably, following a powerful solar storm in May 2024, a new radiation belt, known as the Van Allen belt, has formed around Earth.
