Madrasa Education: A Boon for National Welfare – SMA District Camp Highlights

The SMA District Executive Camp in Kollam underscored the invaluable contribution of madrasa education to national welfare and ethical development. Dr. N. Ilyas Kutty, President of the Kerala Muslim Jama’at District, inaugurated the camp, emphasizing the crucial role of religious education in preserving traditional values. The camp, held at the Karikkode Khadiziya Students Center, featured a flag hoisting ceremony by Niyas Ahmed and a keynote address by Sayyid Abdul Rahman Bafaqi. Muhammad Ali Saqafi, State Secretary of the Sunni Management Association, presented the organization’s 2024-2027 action plan. The event saw participation from teachers, management representatives, and prominent figures from the Sunni education board, underscoring the collective commitment to the advancement of madrasa education.
