Suárez’s two goals on Saturday propelled Inter Miami to a 2-0 victory over Cincinnati, mathematically guaranteeing their place in the MLS playoffs. He opened the scoring just 30 seconds into the match with a powerful strike from inside the box. Before Cincinnati could react, Suárez struck again in the 6th minute, capitalizing on a defensive error. With this honor, Suárez joins Lionel Messi and Cristian Arango of Real Salt Lake as the players with the most Player of the Week awards this season. Suárez has scored 14 goals in MLS this season, trailing only Arango in the race for the Golden Boot.
