Lisbon Police Seize Over 113,000 Cocaine Doses at Airport

Lisbon airport authorities apprehended a 40-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman on suspicion of drug trafficking, confiscating over 113,500 doses of cocaine. The pair arrived on a flight from Brazil, raising suspicions during a routine border control check. Despite initially appearing to have valid travel documents, officers opted for a more thorough inspection. The contraband was concealed within the suspects’ luggage and discovered during a secondary search. The individuals were arrested and subsequently remanded in custody pending further investigation.
