While the family’s three-year-old was thrilled by the event, Tulonen quickly ushered everyone inside. Meanwhile, in Turku, resident Tiia Kuusniemi was filming the approaching storm from her backyard when a lightning bolt struck a nearby lamppost. The post immediately went dark, prompting Kuusniemi to rush inside and check for damage. While the lamppost was affected, Kuusniemi thankfully found no other signs of damage. Both families are thankful that no one was injured and are enjoying the rest of the stormy evening from the safety of their homes.
