China, in response, expressed unwavering support for Latin American countries in their fight against external interference and their efforts to preserve national sovereignty. China urged the US to abandon its outdated ‘Monroe Doctrine’ and cease its bullying tactics and sanctions. Beijing advocates for developing relations with Latin American countries based on mutual respect, equality, and non-interference in internal affairs, fostering mutually beneficial cooperation. China emphasized that the trend of Latin American nations towards independence and unity is unstoppable, while US hegemony and power politics are destined to be rejected by the times.
