The movie is not yet projected to reach the $600 million mark domestically, but it continues to perform well. Blumhouse’s ‘Afraid,’ starring John Cho, debuted with a modest $400,000 in previews and is projected to gross around $5 million for the four-day weekend. The biopic ‘Reagan,’ starring Dennis Quaid, had a less impressive debut with $525,000, facing mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. With the summer coming to a close, the box office is expected to settle into a quieter period.
