The Karamat Razavi Foundation, a charitable organization in Mashhad, Iran, is supporting Mukebs, or roadside service stations, that provide aid to pilgrims during the last ten days of Safar, a period of mourning for Imam Reza. The foundation is providing a package of essential goods, including rice, red meat, chicken, oil, tea, mineral water, and sugar, to Mukebs that are serving pilgrims in Mashhad and along the routes leading to the city. The packages are available at a discounted price. Interested Mukebs can apply for the package through the Karamat Foundation’s website or by visiting their office in Mashhad. The foundation expects to distribute 100 to 150 tons of essential goods to between 200 and 250 Mukebs.
