The Jordanian Under-17 national football team, under the guidance of coach Abdullah Al-Qattati, has announced its 23-player roster for the upcoming West Asian Championship. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Amman, Jordan, from September 2nd to 11th. The team will begin its campaign against Lebanon on Monday evening at the Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa. Their group stage concludes with a match against Iraq at the Polo Stadium. Prior to the championship, the Jordanian team secured a 1-0 victory over their Palestinian counterparts in a friendly match, played at the Polo Stadium as part of their preparation for the West Asian tournament. The tournament’s first round will be played in a single-round league format, with the top team from each group, along with the best second-place finisher, advancing to the semi-finals.
