The Jordanian national kickboxing team concluded their participation in the World Youth Championship in Budapest, Hungary. The team, led by coach Issa Abu Nassar and his assistant, Adi Abu Haswa, secured a gold medal and three bronze medals, demonstrating their prowess in the international arena. The team included 10 players representing Jordan, competing in the ‘full contact’ style. The gold medal was won by Moataz Arabasi, who triumphed over Jahongir Sajduliyev of Uzbekistan in the final bout. The bronze medals went to Mu’ath Abu Aida, Sami Al-Akhras, and Adi Daabs. Notably, Arabasi became the second Jordanian player to win gold at the World Kickboxing Championship, following in the footsteps of his coach, Adi Abu Haswa, who achieved the same feat in 2017. Coach Nassar expressed his pride in the team’s performance, highlighting their success in securing four medals out of ten participating players.
