Jordanian fencers made a strong start at the West Asian Fencing Championship for age groups, held in Amman, Jordan. The national team secured 18 medals, including 4 golds, 6 silvers, and 8 bronzes, on the opening day of the competition. The championship, which features over 450 fencers from Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Lebanon, Palestine, and the United Arab Emirates, is being contested in the three weapons: foil, saber, and épée.
