Jenin Governor Demands Halt to Israeli Attacks on Hospitals and Ambulances

Jenin Governor Kamal Abu al-Rub has demanded an immediate end to the ongoing Israeli military operation in Jenin, condemning the targeting of civilians and healthcare facilities. Abu al-Rub stated that the operation, which began in the early hours of Wednesday, constitutes an organized assault on Palestinian civilians and infrastructure, including hospitals and ambulances. He specifically cited the Israeli army’s declaration of intent to storm Jenin Government Hospital, claiming it received confirmation from the Israeli military liaison officer. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have launched a large-scale operation in the Jenin area, targeting Palestinian resistance fighters in Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tubas. The operation has been met with fierce resistance from Palestinian factions, who have engaged in retaliatory attacks against Israeli forces.
