A leading Israeli newspaper, Haaretz, has admitted that the Israeli Air Force has dropped over 50,000 bombs and missiles on the Gaza Strip since the start of the conflict on October 7th. The newspaper reports that two-thirds of these bombs weighed over a ton each. In a separate development, a high-ranking Israeli military officer has confessed that the Israeli military would have been unable to continue the war for more than a few months without significant military and weapons support from the United States. This officer also stated that the current conflict will fundamentally reshape Israel’s future military and weapons doctrine.
