Israeli forces have killed an 82-year-old Palestinian man, identified as Tawfiq Ahmad Younis Qandil, during military operations in Jenin. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that Qandil was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin. Medical sources indicated he was shot nine times by Israeli sniper fire. The Red Crescent also reported that Israeli forces fired upon ambulances responding to the incident, impeding medical assistance. Since Wednesday, a total of 20 Palestinians have been killed in Jenin, Tubas, and Tulkarem during ongoing Israeli military operations. The Israeli army has conducted raids and house searches in Jenin, forcing residents to evacuate their homes. Several homes were converted into military bases, with Israeli soldiers detaining young men and children. The Red Crescent has faced significant challenges in providing aid to civilians trapped in Jenin, with Israeli forces hindering the movement of ambulances and targeting medical personnel.
