The Isle of Man Swimming Club, sponsored by Utmost Wealth, saw a remarkable number of swimmers qualify for prestigious national summer meets across the UK. Among them, Ella Justice, Harry Robinson, Alex Turnbull, and Lauren Dennett competed at the British National Summer Championships in Sheffield, a feat achieved by only the top 24 ranked swimmers in each age group. Justice stole the show with a fourth-place finish in the 50m backstroke, setting a new Manx record. She also broke another Manx record in the 100m backstroke, highlighting a season of personal bests. Robinson, qualifying for three events at the British Nationals, opted to focus on the 50m backstroke there, while also excelling in the 50m and 100m freestyle and 50m butterfly at the Scottish Open. Peter Allen, meanwhile, impressed at the Scottish National Open, setting new lifetime bests in all three of his events, including a new island record in the 200m butterfly. Despite illness, Alex Turnbull showcased his resilience with a strong performance in the 50m breaststroke, while Lauren Dennett, making her British Nationals debut, delivered a commendable performance in the 400m freestyle.
