Iran’s Role in the Palestinian Issue: Arab League Official Speaks Out

Hussam Zaki, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, has stated that Iran’s involvement in the Palestinian issue is driven by a desire to portray itself as a major player, despite not being an actual party to the conflict. Zaki criticized Iran’s attempts to benefit from the Palestinian cause, emphasizing that the Palestinian Liberation Organization is the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinians. He stressed the importance of Arab unity in addressing the issue and preventing outside forces from exploiting Palestinian aspirations.
