The 2nd International ‘Route of Salvation’ Cycling Tour (Tour of Route Salvation) has begun in Samsun, Turkey. Organized by the Samsun Governorate, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, Turkish Cycling Federation, and SAMKON, the event will see 115 professional cyclists from 18 countries compete across five Turkish cities from August 30th to September 2nd. The race began in Samsun, where cyclists expressed their pride in the city hosting the international event. The first stage took the cyclists from Samsun to Yakakent, covering a distance of 151.1 kilometers. The remaining stages will include Havza-Amasya (133.7 km), Amasya-Çorum (163.6 km), and Çankırı-Ankara (166.4 km). The event also included races for younger cyclists.
