In July, the financial sector in Bangladesh saw a mixed trend in institutional investment, with six out of 23 listed companies experiencing an increase, while fourteen witnessed a decrease. Three companies, namely Far East Finance, International Leasing, and Midas Finance, saw no change in institutional investment. This data, obtained from the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), reveals the dynamic nature of the financial market. Among the six companies that saw an increase in investment, notable performers include Be Leasing, BD Finance, BIFC, DBH, Premier Leasing, and United Finance. For example, Be Leasing saw a 0.40% increase in institutional investment, while BD Finance saw a 0.04% increase. However, the overall trend points towards a cautious approach from institutional investors, with several companies experiencing declines in investment.
