Indian Actor Mukesh’s Home Under Police Protection Amidst Sexual Assault Allegations

Indian actor and politician, Mukesh, has had his house in Thiruvananthapuram placed under police protection after a case was registered against him based on a sexual assault complaint filed by an actress in Kochi. The case was registered under non-bailable sections, following the actress’s statement to a special investigation team. The actress alleges that Mukesh abused her at a hotel after promising her roles in films. She has also filed a complaint against six other individuals from the film industry, including actor Jayasurya, for their alleged involvement. The police have registered a case against all of them. While Mukesh’s vehicle was seen in front of his house, his current whereabouts are unclear. He has not commented on the allegations. Protests against Mukesh have intensified, with calls for his resignation and marches organized towards his home and office in Pattanam.
