The Lafayette Anticipations Foundation is bringing back its ‘Human Scale’ performance festival, running from September 20th to 22nd, 2024. This edition will focus on artistic movements led by researchers, students, and the general public, transforming the space and exploring its possibilities. Over the weekend, the event will host an eclectic mix of performances, installations, and conferences, showcasing a diverse range of artistic expression. Highlights include Rabih Mroué’s non-academic conferences, playing with perception and illusion, and Dalila Belaza’s dance solo ‘Figures,’ exploring a universal dance without origin or territory. Other notable performances include Léa Vinette’s ‘Nox,’ celebrating the night, and Phia Ménard’s aerial choreography ‘L’après-midi d’un foehn Version 1’. The evenings will be enlivened by Catol Teixeira’s festive performance, while Marie NDiaye’s reading and film screenings add to the immersive weekend. The festival invites audiences to experience art in new ways, questioning relationships and exploring the possibilities of the Lafayette Anticipations space.
