Heilongjiang province in China is aiming to significantly improve rural connectivity by expanding its network of passenger-freight-mail stations. The province plans to have over 3,000 such stations in operation across its counties, townships, and villages by 2027, with a goal of over 300 integrated transport routes connecting these locations. This initiative aims to enhance access to goods, services, and transportation for rural residents, promoting economic growth and improving overall quality of life in rural areas.
