Heavy Rains Expected in Makkah al-Mukarramah: Weather Forecast for the Next Few Days

The National Center of Meteorology in Saudi Arabia has issued a weather warning for Makkah al-Mukarramah and neighboring regions. Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected to begin on Friday, August 30th, and continue until Tuesday, September 3rd. The affected areas include the capital city, Al-Kamil, Al-Jumum, Khulais, Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al-Kamil, Ar-Rayyat, Al-Lith, Qunfudhah, Al-Kharmah, Turbah, Ranyah, and Al-Mowaiyah. The Civil Defense has urged residents to take caution, exercise vigilance, and adhere to their instructions during this period. The National Center of Meteorology has been working to improve the weather conditions in Makkah al-Mukarramah and the surrounding holy sites, with a promising study on rainfall enhancement underway.
